Collection: Adeel uz Zafar
Adeel uz Zafar is a Karachi-based multidisciplinary artist, illustrator, and educator whose practice transforms familiar childhood imagery into powerful reflections on identity, concealment, and memory. He completed his BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore, in 1998, before working as an illustrator for children’s publications.
His distinctive visual language developed through engraving on photographic sheets, using a cutter to create intricate, textured surfaces. Bandaged toys, animals, and figures recur in his work, turning innocent forms into unsettling images that question individuality, vulnerability, and the hidden self.
Adeel has exhibited widely in Pakistan and internationally, including major art fairs and residencies.
For collectors, Adeel uz Zafar’s work offers conceptual strength, technical precision, and significant contemporary relevance.
