Collection: Adnan Ali Umrani

Adnan Ali Umrani is a Rawalpindi-based visual artist, born in Quetta in 1996, with roots in Naushehro Feroze, Sindh. He completed a BFA from the University College of Art and Design, Islamia University Bahawalpur, and an MA in Visual Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore.

Working primarily with graphite and charcoal on paper, he explores abandoned railway stations as spaces suspended between movement, memory, and disappearance. Shaped by childhood relocation across Pakistan, his drawings preserve traces of time, travel, human encounters, and fading civic histories.

He has exhibited at O Art Space, VM Art Gallery, Ejaz Art Gallery, Tagheer Art Gallery, Khaas Contemporary, Muse Art Gallery, Pakistan Art Forum, Numaish Gah, COLABS, and The Orchard Gallery. He is also visiting faculty at NCA Rawalpindi.

For collectors, Adnan Ali Umrani’s work offers atmospheric depth, technical restraint, and a poetic meditation on memory and passage.
