Akram Dost Baloch is a leading Pakistani painter, sculptor, educator, and cultural figure from Nushki, Balochistan. He graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore, and became one of the founding faculty members of the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Balochistan, where he later served as chairperson.

His practice is rooted in the visual culture, craft traditions, and social realities of Balochistan. Working across painting, sculpture, and carved wood, he brings together indigenous motifs, human rights concerns, memory, resistance, and contemporary socio-political reflection.

Akram Dost Baloch has received major recognition, including Pakistan’s President’s Pride of Performance Award, and his work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
