Collection: Amna Waqas

Amna Waqas is a Lahore-based visual artist, born in 1992. She completed her MFA in Fine Arts Painting from the College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore, in 2019, with additional training in fresco painting, ceramic product design, drawing, and artist practice programmes at NCA, GCU, and PNCA.

Her practice moves between reality, dream, fantasy, and myth, using natural imagery to explore emotional dualities such as beauty and suffering, freedom and constraint, tradition and rebellion. Through layered pictorial spaces, she creates atmospheres where resilience, imagination, and subjective experience unfold.

Amna has exhibited in Pakistan and internationally, including Ocean Art Gallery, Shakir Ali Museum, Alhamra Art Gallery, ArtSoch, Mainframe Gallery, Oyster Art Gallery, and NBF Dubai.

For collectors, Amna Waqas’s work offers poetic surrealism, emotional depth, and layered visual imagination.
