Collection: Irfan Gul Dahri

I am a Lahore-based visual artist, curator, and educator, born in Shahdadpur, Sindh. I hold a Master’s degree in Visual Art from the National College of Arts, Lahore, where I have also been associated as a faculty member. My practice moves between painting, drawing, installation, and curatorial inquiry, shaped by a deep engagement with tradition, memory, and contemporary experience.

My work often reflects on human behaviour, cultural inheritance, and the layered narratives that exist between the personal and the collective. Through refined detail, symbolic imagery, and carefully constructed visual language, I explore how stories, identities, and histories continue to transform across time.

I have participated in major exhibitions, biennales, residencies, and art projects in Pakistan and internationally, including the Karachi Biennale, Lahore Biennale collateral projects, Vasl Artists’ Association, and the Charles Wallace Visiting Artist Fellowship in London. My work has received several honours, including the Chughtai Award, and the Sadequain Pride of Performance Award.
