Collection: Kamran Maqbool

Kamran Maqbool is a Hyderabad-based visual artist, born in 1997. He trained in graphic design and ceramic art at Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro University of Art, Design and Heritages, Jamshoro, and completed his BFA in Visual Arts from the Institute of Arts and Design, University of Sindh, in 2021.

Working across different mediums with a particular inclination toward acrylics, his practice draws inspiration from memories of travel. Through colour, form, and layered visual experience, Kamran reflects on movement, place, and the emotional traces left by journeys.

His work has been exhibited at Alhamra Art Gallery and Anna Molka Gallery, Lahore, and is held in the permanent collection of Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels.
