Collection: Kiran Saleem

Kiran Saleem is a Lahore-based visual artist and educator from Faisalabad. Trained in painting at the College of Art and Design, GC University Faisalabad, and later at the National College of Arts, Lahore, her practice moves between hyperreal painting, photography, print and site-specific work.

Saleem draws from Western art history, family photographs and familiar objects to question how images are remembered, repeated and reinterpreted. By placing personal archives beside references from art history, she creates new visual narratives that shift the meaning of already-seen images.

Her work reflects on truth, perception and documentation, considering how history is preserved through painting, photography and print. Through this dialogue, Saleem opens space for memory, image and reality to be viewed again.
