Collection: Mirza Zeeshan Hussain

Mirza Zeeshan Hussain is a Lahore-based Pakistani contemporary artist and educator, born in Gilgit in 1993. He studied at the National College of Arts, Lahore, where he trained in the traditional discipline of Indo-Persian miniature painting.

Working across drawing, painting, miniature painting, and sculpture, his practice explores trauma, vulnerability, memory, and the emotional burdens carried by individuals. Soft toys appear as recurring symbols of human fragility, set against grungy backgrounds that reflect the complex dilemmas of life.

Zeeshan has exhibited at Chawkandi Art Gallery, O Art Space, Canvas Gallery, Satrang Gallery, Huntenkunst Netherlands, and the Sino-Pak touring exhibition Fuse-Protogenesis. He has also undertaken an artist residency at BQ Studio.

For collectors, Mirza Zeeshan Hussain’s work offers psychological intensity, symbolic tenderness, and contemporary emotional depth.
