Mona
Naqsh
Mona Naqsh is a Karachi-born Pakistani painter, born in 1968, widely recognised for her devoted exploration of flowers as a subject. Trained under her father, Jamil Naqsh, one of Pakistan’s most celebrated modern painters, she developed a refined still-life practice shaped by discipline, observation, and emotional sensitivity.
Her paintings treat flowers not as decorative forms, but as vessels of memory, silence, fragility, and inner beauty. Through colour, form, and stillness, Mona creates a visual language where nature becomes intimate, symbolic, and deeply felt.
“Like a truth, my flowers depict hidden beauty which cannot be understood but felt, and thus a relationship is born between souls. Painting is not accidental effect, but conscious awareness as a motive force in art.”
For collectors, Mona Naqsh’s work offers poetic beauty, legacy, and timeless still-life refinement.
