Collection: Mudasir Hussain Chandio
Mudasir Hussain Chandio is a visual artist from Hyderabad, Sindh, born in 2001, working between Lahore and Hyderabad. He completed a BFA from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, in 2025, and received recognition on the Dean’s Honours List.
His practice examines the philosophical and naturalistic properties of spaces and objects, questioning function, context, transformation, and the politics of built environments. In the series There Was a Landscape Behind the Wall, he paints landscapes onto cement ornament surfaces collected from under-construction houses, reflecting on urban expansion, displaced nature, and memories buried beneath walls.
Mudasir received a Special Prize at Karachi ArtFest 2024, was part of the Ground-UP Cross Border Fellowship 2025, and has work in the Ambiance Boutique Art Hotels collection.
For collectors, Mudasir Hussain Chandio’s work offers material intelligence, ecological reflection, and contemporary conceptual depth.
