Collection: Muhammad Jawad Hassan

Muhammad Jawad Hassan is a Karachi-based sculptor whose practice explores childhood, memory, social realities, cultural identity, neglect, and resilience. Trained in sculpture at the School of Visual and Performing Arts, Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, he works with form, material, and narrative to reflect on the emotional weight of lived experience.

His practice draws from school assemblies, discipline, punishment, and childhood memories, as well as his early encounter with toys made by his sculptor grandfather. Through these references, he transforms ordinary memories into sculptural forms that speak of visibility, human connection, and overlooked value.

Muhammad Jawad Hassan has exhibited with MainFrame The Gallery, Sanat Initiative, Ejaz Art Gallery, Pakistan Art Forum, and ArtScene Gallery.

For collectors, Muhammad Jawad Hassan’s work offers emotional memory, sculptural sensitivity, and contemporary social depth.
