Collection: Muqeet Haider

I am an Islamabad-based visual artist, born in 1999, and a graduate of the National College of Arts, where I majored in Painting. My practice explores identity, memory, and psychological depth through figurative painting.

I am drawn to the subtle ways people inhabit space — how posture, light, silence, and atmosphere can reveal inner states without words. Through painting, I transform ordinary moments into contemplative narratives, reflecting identity as something fluid, layered, and constantly shaped by personal and cultural experience.

Since completing my degree, I have participated in several group exhibitions across Pakistan, including Asli Contemporary Vol. 1 at Numaish Gah, Lahore; The New Dawn at Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore; The Unfolding at Satrang Gallery, Islamabad; Interior Selves at ArtScene Gallery, Karachi; Shared Distances at PNCA, Islamabad; and exhibitions with Khaas Contemporary, VM Art Gallery, Mainframe Gallery, and Pakistan Art Forum.

Through my work, I invite viewers to consider identity not as a fixed truth, but as something quietly unfolding within the textures of daily life.
