Collection: Rashda Faridi
Rashda Faridi is a Pakistani multidisciplinary artist, printmaker, and art educator whose practice spans etching, woodcut, painting, drawing, and ceramics. She graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore, in 1996 with Distinction in Printmaking and a Gold Medal in Puppetry, and completed an MA in Art Education with Distinction from Beaconhouse National University in 2024.
Her practice is rooted in direct, intuitive mark-making, treating the metal plate as a surface for drawing, memory, and observation. In her zinc etchings, blind contour lines capture architecture through instinct, while everyday details anchor the work in lived experience. Her image of NCA, Lahore reflects the tension between fleeting student life and enduring institutional legacy.
For collectors, Rashda Faridi’s work offers printmaking discipline, intuitive line, and a refined meditation on memory and place.
