Collection: S.M. Raza

S.M. Raza is a Karachi-based visual artist and educator whose practice moves across painting, murals, illustration, concept art, and memory. His work has been shown in local and international exhibitions, and he has undertaken residencies at Gyeonggi Creation Center, South Korea, and Vasl in Lahore.

His practice is rooted in teenage memories of Korangi, its dim streets, coastal surroundings, aged houses, and objects silhouetted against the night sky. Through dreamlike compositions of light and shadow, Raza transforms ordinary urban spaces into quiet, poetic scenes where darkness, silence, and memory become emotionally charged.

His solo exhibitions include An Ode to Silence, Pipe Dream, and Lucid Dreams, and he has worked as a senior concept artist for Waadi Animations.

For collectors, S.M. Raza’s work offers poetic urban memory, visual sensitivity, and contemporary narrative depth.
