Collection: Sabahat Nisar

I am a Lahore-based visual artist whose practice is rooted in realism, emotion, and the tactile experience of painting. I completed my BFA in Visual Arts from Government Postgraduate College for Women, Gulberg, and later pursued my MFA from the College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab.

My work explores the emotional layers of human existence, often reflecting on what remains hidden beneath the surface. Rather than relying solely on brushes, I use my fingers to apply paint directly onto the canvas, allowing touch, texture, and movement to become central to my process.

Through figurative imagery, layered surfaces, and expressive use of oil paint, I aim to translate feeling into form and create works that invite a deeper emotional connection with the viewer.
