Collection: Sajjad Birgun
Sajjad Birgun is a Lahore-based visual artist from Hunza, Pakistan, whose practice is rooted in miniature painting. A graduate of the National College of Arts, Rawalpindi, with a specialization in Miniature Painting, he develops work shaped by the symbolic and narrative traditions of the medium.
His practice explores flora, botanical forms, fauna, and the metaphorical language of nature. Rather than treating flowers and plants as decorative motifs, Sajjad places them at the centre of his compositions, using them to reflect identity, desire, vulnerability, conflict, power, and human relationships.
Drawing from Islamic art and miniature traditions, his work combines historical ornament with contemporary emotional concerns, inviting slow looking beneath beauty’s surface.
For collectors, Sajjad Birgun’s work offers miniature refinement, botanical symbolism, and a poetic contemporary language.
