Collection: Swarim Abid Hassan

Swarim Abid Hassan is a Karachi-based visual artist, born in 2003. He graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore, in 2025 with a BFA in Painting, and received First Prize at the Arjumand Painting Award 2025.

Working with oil paint, oxidised silver leaf, and metallic foils, his practice builds layered surfaces that move between shimmer and erosion, permanence and decay. Swarim explores displacement, fragility, shifting borders, and quiet resistance, using material transformation to reflect the instability of contemporary life.

His work has been exhibited with Sanat Art Initiative, Ejaz Art Gallery, Tagheer Art Gallery, Numaish Gah, Kaleido Contemporary, ArtScene Gallery, and Vasl Artists’ Association.
