I earned my BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore, with a major in Miniature. My work has been exhibited at Numaish Gah, Lahore, Khyal Art Space, Islamabad, and Orchard Gallery, Islamabad. I have also participated in a virtual exhibition with Khyal Art Space and am currently part of a residency with the Punjab Arts Council in collaboration with PTDC for the International Gandhara Festival.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy practice examines the idea of “value” within the image, drawing from both a maternal lineage of fine art and a paternal heritage in finance. I work with the formal language of Pahari and Mughal miniature painting to explore how aesthetic labour, ornament, and technical precision can mirror the visual systems found in global currency.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUsing gouache on wasli with photo-transfer, I investigate how art and economics continue to shape cultural meaning across different eras.
