Tahir Bin Qulander is a Lahore-based Pakistani visual artist and calligrapher, born in 1980. He completed his BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore, in 2009, followed by a Diploma in Calligraphy in 2010.

His practice brings Islamic calligraphy into a bold contemporary visual language, combining sacred text, geometry, layered acrylic surfaces, and vibrant colour. Rooted in Sufi inheritance and spiritual reflection, his work transforms the written word into a meditative experience of rhythm, devotion, harmony, and inner movement.

Through powerful compositions and intricate detailing, Tahir creates paintings that feel both traditional and modern, connecting calligraphic discipline with emotional and visual intensity.
