Yasir
Noor
Yasir Noor is a Karachi-based visual artist currently completing a BFA at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi. Yasir Noor’s practice draws from memory, ancestry, and personal history, shaped by stories of coal mines and inherited labour passed down through Yasir Noor’s family.
Yasir Noor transforms these fading memories into painted images, reflecting on how personal recollection loses colour over time yet remains emotionally powerful. Through symbolic visual narratives, Yasir Noor explores heritage, disappearance, labour, and the fragile persistence of memory.
Yasir Noor has exhibited in a solo presentation at Mainframe Gallery, Karachi, and in group exhibitions including Stars of Tomorrow, Art Speak, Silver Lining, Asli Contemporary Vol. II, and an online exhibition with Canvas Gallery.
For collectors, Yasir Noor’s work offers memory, intimacy, and a deeply personal contemporary narrative.
