Collection: Zukhruf Farooq

Zukhruf Farooq is a Rawalpindi-based visual artist, born in 2000. Zukhruf Farooq graduated from the National College of Arts, majoring in Painting, and has exhibited recent work at The Orchard Gallery and Numaish Gah.

Zukhruf Farooq’s practice is rooted in personal and family archives, using painting to explore memory, time, absence, and emotional presence. Through aged photographs, fragmented recollections, and restrained bodily gestures, Zukhruf Farooq constructs quiet scenes where the body becomes a carrier of lived experience.

Zukhruf Farooq’s figures often appear faceless or partially obscured, allowing posture, proximity, and silence to transmit intimacy, loss, and inherited memory.

For collectors, Zukhruf Farooq’s work offers poetic restraint, psychological depth, and a sensitive contemporary meditation on memory.
