Akram Dost Baloch is a leading Pakistani painter, sculptor, educator, and cultural figure from Nushki, Balochistan. Akram Dost Baloch graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore, and became one of the founding faculty members of the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Balochistan.

Akram Dost Baloch’s practice is rooted in the visual culture, craft traditions, and social realities of Balochistan. Working across painting, sculpture, and carved wood, Akram Dost Baloch brings together indigenous motifs, human rights concerns, and contemporary socio-political reflection.

Akram Dost Baloch has received national and international recognition, including Pakistan’s President’s Pride of Performance Award in 2004.
