Swarim Abid Hassan is a Karachi-based visual artist, born in 2003. Swarim Abid Hassan graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore, in 2025 with a BFA in Painting, and received First Prize at the Arjumand Painting Award 2025.

Working with oil paint, oxidised silver leaf, and metallic foils, Swarim Abid Hassan constructs layered surfaces that move between shimmer and erosion, permanence and decay. Swarim Abid Hassan’s practice explores displacement, fragility, shifting borders, and quiet resistance, using material transformation to reflect the instability of contemporary life.

Swarim Abid Hassan has exhibited with Sanat Art Initiative, Ejaz Art Gallery, Tagheer Art Gallery, Numaish Gah, Kaleido Contemporary, ArtScene Gallery, and Vasl Artists’ Association.
