Amna Waqas is a Lahore-based visual artist, born in 1992. Amna Waqas completed an MFA in Fine Arts Painting from the College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab, and further trained in fresco painting, ceramic product design, drawing, and artist practice programmes at institutions including NCA, GCU, and PNCA.

Amna Waqas’s practice moves between reality, dream, fantasy, and myth, using natural imagery to explore emotional dualities such as beauty and suffering, freedom and constraint, tradition and rebellion. Amna Waqas builds layered pictorial spaces where resilience, imagination, and subjective experience unfold.

Amna Waqas has exhibited in Pakistan and internationally, including solo presentations at Ocean Art Gallery and group exhibitions with ArtSoch, Shakir Ali Museum, Alhamra Art Gallery, Mainframe Gallery, Oyster Art Gallery, and NBF Dubai.
