You have 14 days from delivery to inspect your artwork and report any condition issues.
This guarantee covers:
- Shipping damage (tears, dents, broken frames, cracked glass)
- Condition issues not disclosed in listing (existing damage, restoration)
- Significant discrepancies from description or photos
- Missing Certificate of Authenticity or documentation
How to report an issue:
- Email support@arfiras.com within 14 days of delivery
- Include your order number and clear photos of the issue
- Describe the problem in detail
- Keep all original packaging
We'll respond within 24 hours with a resolution.
Shipping Damage Protection
Every international shipment is fully insured for the complete purchase price.
If your artwork arrives damaged:
- Document immediately: Take photos of outer box, inner packaging, and damaged artwork before unpacking further
- Keep everything: Save all packaging materials for insurance inspection
- Contact us within 48 hours: Email support@arfiras.com with photos and order number
- We handle the claim: Our team files the insurance claim and manages the process
- Resolution options: Replacement artwork, professional repair, or full refund
You are fully protected—shipping damage will never be your financial responsibility.
Return Policy
Eligible Returns
Returns are accepted in these situations:
- Shipping damage: Artwork damaged in transit (covered by insurance)
- Condition issues: Undisclosed damage or restoration
- Authenticity concerns: Questions about artwork authenticity (covered by lifetime guarantee)
- Significant discrepancy: Artwork materially different from description
Return Process
- Contact us first: Email support@arfiras.com with reason for return
- Approval required: Wait for return authorization before shipping
- Return packaging: Use original packaging or equivalent museum-grade materials
- Return shipping: Responsibility depends on reason (see below)
- Inspection: Artwork inspected upon return to our facility
- Refund processed: Within 5-7 business days of inspection
Return Shipping Costs
- Shipping damage: We cover all return shipping costs
- Our error (wrong item, condition issue): We cover all return shipping costs
- Change of mind: Returns not accepted for buyer's remorse or subjective reasons
Condition Requirements
For returns to be accepted:
- Artwork must be in the same condition as received
- Original packaging must be used or equivalent protection
- Certificate of Authenticity must be included
- Return must be initiated within 14 days of delivery
What's NOT Covered
Our return policy does not cover:
- Change of mind: Subjective reasons like color, style, or size after purchase
- Buyer's remorse: Deciding you don't want the artwork after delivery
- Incorrect measurements: Artwork dimensions are clearly listed in each description
- Color variations: Minor color differences due to screen calibration
- Damage after delivery: Damage caused by buyer after receipt
- Custom or commissioned works: Special orders are final sale

Refund Process
Timeline:
- Return received and inspected: 2-3 business days
- Refund processed: 5-7 business days after approval
- Refund appears in your account: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)
Refund method:
- Refunds issued to original payment method
- Original shipping costs refunded only if return is due to our error or damage

Insurance Claims
For shipping damage, we handle all insurance claims on your behalf:
- You provide photos and documentation
- We file the claim with the carrier
- Insurance company may inspect packaging

- Resolution provided: replacement, repair, or refund
You never have to deal with the insurance company directly.
Customs & Duties
Important: Customs duties and import taxes are non-refundable.
- These fees are charged by your country's customs authority, not by Arfiras
- If you return an artwork, customs duties cannot be refunded by us
- You may be able to claim a refund from your customs authority—contact them directly
Damaged in Transit vs. Damaged After Delivery
Damaged in Transit (Covered)
- Damage visible on outer packaging
- Damage discovered during initial unboxing
- Reported within 48 hours of delivery
- Photos show damage consistent with shipping
Damaged After Delivery (Not Covered)
- Damage occurs after you've unpacked and handled artwork
- Damage reported more than 14 days after delivery
- Damage inconsistent with shipping (e.g., spills, tears, punctures)
Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee
Separate from our returns policy, every artwork is backed by a lifetime authenticity guarantee.
If any artwork is ever determined to be inauthentic or misrepresented:
- Full refund of original purchase price
- We cover return shipping
- No time limit on this guarantee
