"Untitled" by Khizra Tanvir

Khizra Tanvir is an Islamabad-based visual artist who completed her Fine Arts degree with a specialization in Miniature Painting from the National College of Arts, Rawalpindi, in 2025. Rooted in traditional miniature techniques, especially neemrung and gadhrung, her practice explores memory, relocation, belonging, and the desire for groundedness.

Having grown up in constant movement, she builds contemporary compositions that hold traces of homes, journeys, and emotional transition. Through surreal imagery, symbolism, and natural forms, her work reflects the space between tender memory and present reality, where change becomes both loss and growth.

Since graduating, she has exhibited nationally and internationally, including Satrang Art Gallery and PNCA, Islamabad; Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore; Mainframe The Gallery and VM Art Gallery, Karachi; and No. 35 Gallery, London.

For collectors, Khizra Tanvir’s work offers refined miniature technique, poetic nostalgia, and contemporary emotional depth.
