Vicious Circle - I concentrates the figure within a compact mixed-media field on Wasli, where layered marks and repeated visual movement create a sense of pressure and return. The close composition gives the title its tension, building a rhythm that seems to turn back on itself.

Mohsin Ur Rehman Baig
Mohsin Ur Rehman Baig is an Islamabad-based visual artist, born in 1997. He completed his BFA from the National College of Arts, Rawalpindi, in 2022, specialising in Miniature Painting with minors in Printmaking and Photography, where he received distinction.
His practice explores the body, vulnerability, self-acceptance, and the emotional weight of lived experience. Working through miniature techniques, drawing, installation, and ballpoint pen, he uses detail and repetition to confront inner conflict and transform personal unease into visual reflection.
Through delicate surfaces and psychologically charged imagery, Mohsin creates works that speak quietly yet directly, inviting viewers into a space of honesty, sensitivity, and introspection.
For collectors, Mohsin Ur Rehman Baig’s work offers emotional depth, technical refinement, and a deeply personal contemporary miniature language.
